Those with household registration in Benyuan Li, Benguan Li, Benhe Li, Dingjin Li, Dingsi Li in Sanmin District of Kaohsiung City and in Dahua Village, Niaosong Township of Kaohsiung County can use the following facilities for free:
Refrigeration of remains, casket placement, cosmetizing and casketing room, Special funeral hall, Class A funeral hall, Class B funeral hall, Class C funeral hall, Class D funeral hall, air conditioning in the halls.
Those with household registration in Benwu Li, Baozhu Li, Benwen Li, Wanli Li, Wansheng Li, Wanzi Li, Wanai Li, Dingtai Li, Dingjhong Li, Dingchiang Li, Dingli Li and Dingsheng Li (total 12 areas) in Sanmin District of Kaohsiung City shall pay 50% of the fees for using the following facilities:
Refrigeration of remains, casket placement, cosmetizing and casketing room, Special funeral hall, Class A funeral hall, Class B funeral hall, Class C funeral hall, Class D funeral hall, air conditioning in the halls.
For the free and 50% discounts.
The fees shall be doubled for refrigeration of remains beyond 15 days and casket placement beyond 10 days, the days in excess will incur double fees just like for ordinary city residents.
For those who finish the process from corpse collection in the casket placement to cremation within 72 hours, fees for using the refrigeration placement and casket placement are reduced by half.
Crematorium is free for those household registered in Kaohsiung.
Those with household registration in Benyuan Li, Benguan Li, Benhe Li, Dingjin Li, Dingsi Li in Sanmin District of Kaohsiung City and in Dahua Village, Niaosong Township of Kaohsiung County can use the following facilities for free:
Cremation (including retrieval of cremated bones and urn sealing), temporary casket storage, spirit tablet storage and temporary storage of cremated remains (spirit tablet).
